The Dominick Hotel Debuts in New York City at the Height of Luxury
Posted January 1, 2018
The Five-Diamond Hotel Joins Preferred Hotels & Resorts as a Member of the Brand’s Exclusive Legend Collection
(NEW YORK, NY – Dec. 20, 2017) Unparalleled modern luxury continues in downtown Manhattan as The Dominick, located at 246 Spring Street, debuts today and is now accepting reservations. The independent hotel was formerly known as the Trump SoHo New York. As the only Five-Diamond property in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, the 46-story, 391-room hotel offers guests unsurpassed accommodations and sweeping views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. With paramount service, spacious accommodations, a world-class spa, outdoor pool, three food and beverage venues, and banquet and event space, The Dominick joins only two other premier hotels in New York City that have been accepted into membership of Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ prestigious Legend Collection.

“The debut of The Dominick marks a new start for the continuation of the level of luxury service that has been set at this hotel,” said Sharon Telesca-Feurer, Acting Director of Sales and Marketing of The Dominick. “We look forward to introducing new and exciting offerings for our new and returning guests.”

All existing room reservations will be honored by The Dominick with no action required by the traveler. Repeat visitors will see familiar faces and the same unrivaled views and unpretentious service they have grown accustomed to experiencing.

Guest Room Experience
Every detail of The Dominick guest rooms exude modern elegance, from granite countertops and leather-topped desks, to oversized marble bathrooms where most of the deep marble soaking tubs are accompanied by a city view. The hotel boasts 391 rooms and suites that average 605 sq. ft., ranging from 422 sq. ft. to 2,331 sq. ft., including ten two-bedroom penthouses. Each room has floor-to-ceiling windows that offer breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the Manhattan skyline and Hudson River. No detail has been overlooked at The Dominick – each unit is furnished by Fendi Casa and includes hand-finished details of precious metals, new-generation fabrics and technologies that blend seamlessly to provide the combination of comfort and luxury. Each room is also outfitted with Nespresso machines, microwave ovens, and a refreshed in-room dining menu. The Dominick will soon announce local partnerships for the artisanal mini bar products in the coming months.

The Spa
The Spa offers uniquely tailored spa services to rejuvenate and indulge the senses, including the first luxury hammam in New York City. The spa’s premier facilities include nine private treatment rooms, salon services, indoor and outdoor relaxation areas. Signature treatments from around the world are offered, including unique body treatments, soothing facials, healing care for hands and feet, seasonal rooftop sunrise yoga classes, and a variety of massage techniques. The Spa also offers salon and in-room hair and makeup services. Those looking for private relaxation can inquire about overnight reservations at three private spa suites with adjacent treatment room or en suite sauna.

Special Events & Catering
The Dominick offers a wide range of meeting and event spaces, all featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with an abundance of natural light. The SoHo Ballroom, an elegant reception space for up to 300 guests, The Hudson Square Ballroom, complete with a private outdoor terrace, and two smaller boardrooms are perfect for executive meetings, and can accommodate a range of event needs. SoHi, the hotel’s forty-sixth floor event space, features 13-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer unparalleled views of Manhattan on three sides making it the perfect place for a more intimate 100-person event. The Dominick’s team of meeting professionals creates elegant events for their guests and offers group packages that can be customized for every client.

Food & Beverage Outlets
New signature restaurant Spring & Varick offers a twist on Modern American Cuisine bringing an exciting, new and elevated yet accessible dining destination to SoHo. Designed by the acclaimed Lesly Bernard, the restaurant plays on art deco meets modern décor with a rotating mix of local art adorning the walls. Food from Executive Chef John Creger highlights Spring & Varick as he serves playful and interactive dishes incorporating fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. Dishes include Lobster Hash, Matcha Green Tea Pancakes, Pork Belly Bahn Mi, Short Rib Pinwheel Crusted with Baby Hemp Leaf Gremolata, Scallops in Parsnip Puree and more.

Cocktail bar Mr. Jones is located on the lobby level and celebrates classic 1960s Americana. Adoring the walls are one-of-a-kind light boxes featuring the likes of Sophia Loren, Neil Armstrong, Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra. The cocktail and food menus are influenced by Mr. Jones’ globetrotting escapades and feature flavors and ingredients from around the world.

Seasonal Bar d’Eau, located on the 7th floor, is an indoor/outdoor rooftop bar featuring creative cocktails and an imaginative menu of light bites served poolside.

The Dominick is located where SoHo meets TriBeCa and the West Village at 246 Spring Street, New York, NY, 10013, at the corner of Spring Street and Varick Street.
