Alchymist Grand Hotel & Spa

Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa is a luxury boutique hotel located in the most charming area of Prague, only a few steps from the famous Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. This hotel is the jewel in the crown of Alchymist Luxury Group and it is the ideal venue for many occasions: a romantic weekend away, that very special holiday, a wedding one will never forget, or indeed an elegant and efficient place for conferences and meetings. The hotel itself is housed in a magnificent Baroque house dating from the 16th century, and it takes its name from the time of Rudolf II., whose court teemed with alchemists, seeking to turn base metal into gold. This 5-star Prague hotel has been sensitively restored to provide you with all possible modern comforts and yet, at the same time, it has retained its historical charm. Hotel offers 46 bedrooms in a deluxe category or beautiful suites. All guests could enjoy relaxation in the Ecsotica Spa, and the fabulous cuisine of Aquarius Restaurant or taste the signature pralines in Barocco Veneziano Café and explore many other benefits.
Aquarius Restaurant: features an eclectic array of Italian and Mediterranean dishes, which includes a wide selection of homemade pasta, fresh fish, and seafood. Executive Chef František Mizerovský prides himself on selecting fresh ingredients and serving dishes of the highest quality. An extra treat is the authentic Czech menu, prepared from the finest traditional ingredients. Dining in the delightful inner courtyard in the summer months is an enchanting experience for guests.
The Ecsotica Spa & Health Club is the finest luxury spa, executing restful rejuvenation in unrivaled privacy and comfort, combining exclusive pampering treatments with extraordinary design elements. Our Ecsotica Spa includes five intimately-furnished treatment rooms, one of which is designed especially for couples wishing to share a romantic experience. Guests can also enjoy a variety of Indonesian-inspired signature treatments, ranging from deep muscular massages and relaxation aromatherapy to bathing rituals, detoxifying wraps, and Pevonia facials provided by an experienced team of Balinese therapists.
The Ecsotica Spa in the Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa is a true gem amongst spas in Prague. You really should not miss the opportunity to visit the spa, even if you are not a great spa enthusiast. This spa is not only about treatments and massages but also about the interior and architecture. The circular Renaissance staircase leads you to a Gothic cellar–one feels as if he or she is descending into an ancient temple. The atmosphere is truly unique and this is the place to indulge yourself by savoring the whole range of treatments offered.
Baracnicka rychta is a traditional Czech restaurant with a long history, a slightly nostalgic and relaxing atmosphere, excellent traditional Czech cuisine, and draught beers such as horseradish and original spirits from local distilleries. Baracnicka Rychta is situated next to the Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa and is open every day for lunch and dinner. We recently opened a newly reconstructed Prague Hall with a capacity of up to 200 persons, decorated with original wallpapers designed to explore the atmosphere of old Prague. It is an ideal space for romantic weddings, meetings, and any other social events.
