Lisa DeCambra: EVERYTHING is new and Exciting! The Swell Bar, Lounge and Pool Deck is definitely the HOTTEST place to see and be seen. It was considered one of the top 10 most “Instagram-worthy Pools in America” by InStyle Magazine.
Our Cabanas, nightly music both at Swell and the Ocean Bar & Lounge are addicting. Morimoto Asia & Momosan also hot and in demand. Our new event spaces and contemporary new rooms and suites are the talk of the town.
TP: How does ‘Alohilani work with travel agents?
LD: We have a dedicated on-site Sales Manager as well as a Southern California based manager to cater to our valued Agent partners.
We also work with select wholesale partners and luxury programming and value ad inclusions for repeat and long stays. We are a part of Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
TP: And what about the food at ‘Alohilani?
LD: Our Swell Bar & Lounge, O Bar & Lounge & Lychee all offer fresh, innovative dishes with a Pacific Island flair. Internationally renowned Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto offers his signature innovative cuisine at two beachside dining experiences on property: Morimoto Asia and Momosan.

In addition, there’s a rich history here with many historical landmarks melding in with new up-and-coming neighborhoods, buzzy local restaurants, bars and nightlife, art and music, and world-class shopping and golf all only minutes away.
TP: What types of activities at or near ‘Alohilani should travelers be aware of?
LD: Our location is literally 60 steps from door to shore and the famous Waikiki Beach offers some of the best in class ocean excursions ranging from surfing, catamaran rides, stand up paddle boarding; snorkeling, and more!
Truly an ideal location to call home-base for explorers, we’re situated a short walk or bike ride to spectacular hiking trails such as the iconic Diamond Head crater; Honolulu Zoo; Waikiki Aquarium, and short drive to historical sites such as Iolani Palace, Mission House; botanical gardens, Museums including contemporary Art experiences and music and shopping! Of course, don’t forget about the best eats in the world, from Celebrity Chef dining to food trucks.
