Aranwa Hotels Resorts & Spas wins two prizes at the World Travel Awards Latin America 2017
Posted September 14, 2017
Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel and Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness are acknowledged as Peru’s Best Luxury Boutique Hotel and Best Resort, respectively
Lima, September 2017: The Aranwa hotel chain received two awards at the 24th World Travel Awards Latin America, which was held at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Mexico on Saturday September 9th.

The World Travel Awards Latin America reward those companies which stand out as leaders of the tourism industry in South America, and whose commitment to excellence has been demonstrated throughout the year; the winners in each category are voted for by tourism professionals around the world.

Pierre Berthier, the General Manager of the Aranwa Hotels chain, was present at this important gala event to receive these two Peruvian awards: Best Luxury Boutique Hotel for Aranwa Cusco; and Best Resort for Aranwa Sacred Valley. Both establishments are situated in the imperial city of Cusco.

“It is very important and satisfying to receive these international awards, in one of the tourism industry’s most important events. The work and effort of all the chain’s employees is reflected in this recognition and these awards will serve to encourage us to continue improving all our processes, so that the chain’s other hotels can achieve the same results”, said Pierre Berthier, General Manager of the Aranwa Hotels chain.

Prior to receiving this award, in September of this year Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel launched its Audio Guide service, through which all its guests and diners will be able to access a tour of selected areas of the hotel and learn more about its collection of artworks, which features colonial-era and contemporary paintings, sculptures and furniture.
In the wake of the World Travel Awards Latin America, all the companies and destinations acknowledged as the best in South America will go on to compete with the best in the world in the grand final of the World Travel Awards, to be held on December 10th in Vietnam.

Aranwa Hotels Resorts & Spas is a collection of hotels offering culture and wellness at its attractive destinations. The collection is currently composed of five hotels in the city of Cusco, Sacred Valley of the Incas, Colca Canyon, Paracas and Vichayito. The collection’s first hotel was opened in 2008, and since then the group has continued to expand and position itself as a leading brand in hotel spa services in Peru.
