The Dominick Hotel in New York City Earns AAA Five Diamond Rating
Posted March 5, 2019
The Only Independent Hotel in NYC and in SoHo to Make the Prestigious List
(NEW YORK, NY – March 5, 2019) Solidifying its reputation as one of New York’s premier luxury hotels, The Dominick, located at the crossroads of Manhattan’s vibrant SoHo, TriBeCa and West Village neighborhoods, earns top honor with AAA’s Five Diamond rating. The Dominick is one of only 11 hotels in New York and the only SoHo property, to receive this top distinction underscoring its commitment to providing noteworthy service for guests.

For more than 80 years, AAA has used professional inspectors to conduct in-person property evaluations. The Five Diamond Rating was created to recognize the upper echelon of hotels, highlighting the property’s extraordinary physical qualities, extensive amenities and impeccable standards of excellence in delivering a highly personalized experience. Evaluation is based upon rigorous testing that includes in-person inspections, anonymous overnight stays and a final review by a panel of experts as an additional step to ensure credibility. The exclusive group represents just 0.4 percent of more than 27,000 hotels across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, adding to the list of only 121 hotels.

“Receiving this rating within our first year of the property’s rebrand is a testament to The Dominick’s commitment to our guests at the highest level,” said Dant Hirsch, General Manager of the hotel. “We are incredibly honored to achieve this accolade.”

For reservations and more information, visit or call 866-486-3137.

The Dominick Hotel in New York City Earns Green Seal® Certification
Luxury Hotel in Soho is Second in Manhattan to Receive Accolade for Progressive Environmental Efforts

(NEW YORK, NY – August 2018) The Dominick, a luxury hotel located at the crossroads of Manhattan’s vibrant SoHo, TriBeCa and West Village neighborhoods, is proud to announce that it is the newest recipient of the prestigious Green Seal® Bronze certification for Hotels & Lodging Properties. The Dominick is only the second hotel in New York to receive this distinction, which underscores its commitment to providing personalized, luxury service that is equally rooted in sustainability as well.

Green Seal was founded in 1989 as a non-profit environmental standard developer driving businesses to minimize or eliminate waste and toxins in their products and operations. In order to attain certification, rigorous benchmarks must be met for utilizing sustainable, efficient and recyclable services. Evaluation is based upon assorted factors including waste minimization, pollution prevention, energy conservation, eco-friendly purchasing, and management of water resources. “Earning this certification shows The Dominick’s deep commitment to the health of its guests and the stewardship of our planet,” said Doug Gatlin, CEO of Green Seal. “They are a shining example of when luxury and sustainability meet.”

The Dominick’s Bronze accolade demonstrates a commitment to this very philosophy. Such efforts include offering complimentary electronic access to newspapers; the use of renewable energy throughout the building; ensuring water rates in flow at a moderate level; offering guests the opportunity to participate in the towel and linen reuse program; and automatic lights in all offices. The property also uses the ORCA food waste management system, which funnels refuse through environmentally safe waters and into Manhattan’s sewage, thus reducing landfill waste.

“The Dominick recognizes its responsibility to be environmentally conscious, both to guests and New Yorkers alike,” says Dant Hirsch, General Manager of the hotel. “We’re incredibly pleased to be credited with the Green Seal as it only re-emphasizes our promise in delivering an exceptional guest experience.”

For reservations and more information, visit or call 866-486-3137.

Nico Fournier as Director MICE & Travel Industry Sales, International and Ece Bayram as Travel Industry Sales Manager
Perfectly situated between New York City’s West Village and TriBeCa neighborhoods, The Dominick continues to build momentum following its recent rebranding with the appointment of two additions to its sales leadership team. The independent hotel announces Nico Fournier as Director of MICE & Travel Industry Sales International, and Ece Bayram as Travel Industry Sales Manager.

As the Director of MICE & Travel Industry Sales International, Nico Fournier will oversee relationships with international leisure consortia accounts, the wholesale market, as well as specialized industries within the group segment. A veteran in sales within the luxury hotel realm, Fournier previously served as the Assistant Director of Sales at The Surrey, a Relais & Châteaux property in New York and the Global Account Director at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in London. In both roles, Fournier developed an astute understanding of the sales and marketing space by fostering relationships with international consortias such as American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts, Virtuoso and Traveller Made. He also exceeded revenue growth, crafted sales strategies, and raised consumer awareness for both properties. Prior to these positions, Fournier leveraged knowledge of his native Canada to enhance travel industry sales while working for the country’s tourist board in London.

With a background in Five-Star luxury hotels, Ece Bayram’s new role as Travel Industry Sales Manager will have her working closely with the luxury leisure consortia based in the United States and Canada, such as American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, Virtuoso, Signature and more. Until recently, Bayram served as Vice President of A2B Travel New York, where she increased leisure and corporate revenue in the North and South American, Canadian, European and Middle Eastern markets. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Business Management in Istanbul, Turkey, Bayram honed her skills at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, working in sales, public relations, marketing and guest services. She relocated to New York to further develop her expertise at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and later as the Travel Industry & International Sales Manager at The New York Palace Hotel. There, she managed leisure accounts and led the development of Manhattan’s 25 top wholesale accounts.

“This is a significant year for The Dominick. As we embark on a new chapter, we’re excited to welcome Nico and Ece to our team,” said Dant Hirsch, General Manager of The Dominick. “These two sales experts bring strong industry knowledge, and will help spread the word as we continue to unveil exciting new offerings and solidify The Dominick as an unparalleled option for group, business and leisure travelers.
