Now The K Club is pleased to announce the appointment of four new staff members to the elegant AA 5 Red Star hotel and country resort in the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East, joining the core meetings & events team and assisting in creating and delivering an impeccable experience for the resort’s corporate clients.
John Costelloe has been announced as new Director of Sales at The K Club, Xavier Perche has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage, Emma Madigan is the new Sales Manager and Elaine Dunne is joining the team as Assistant Director of Sales.

Director of Sales in The K Club, John Costelloe has a degree in International Marketing from the University of Ulster and joins the resort from previous positions in luxury branded hotels and resorts such as Enniskerry’s Powerscourt Hotel and with a wealth of experience in the meetings and incentives industry also, having worked at Event Partners DMC and with Tourism Ireland in roles in Germany and in New York.
New Director of Food & Beverage at The K Club Xavier Perche joins the team from Lough Erne Resort and, prior to that, six years at Mount Juliet Estate. Originally from Lyon in France, Xavier studied Advertising and Hotel Management at Pace University, New York, returning to Europe after graduating to work in the Hotel Chalet St Georges, Megeve, and then as General Manager of the Taverne Brasserie back in his home town of Lyon. Xavier has made his home in Ireland since 2006.
With a strong background in the prestige and luxury motor industry in Australia, having spent four years with Autosports Group in Brisbane, Emma Madigan is the new Sales Manager at The K Club, coming to the resort from Radisson Blu St. Helen’s, Dublin where she was Assistant Director of Sales.
Elaine Dunne joins The K Club team as Assistant Director of Sales from The Shelbourne, where she worked in a series of roles since 2010. An experienced senior event manager and sales professional, Elaine has a diploma focused in Event Management & PR from Dublin Business School, and other previous experience includes four years at The Westin Dublin.
Along with the new additions to the team, Ciara Farrell has been named Meeting & Events Manager, Ciara has been with The K Club for the last 13 years starting at the front desk before moving to the reservations team and then to the sales department before taking on the new managerial role, a fantastic achievement and an exciting role to take on.
The K Club is looking forward to each new team member bringing their knowledge and expertise to their various roles, and further refining the already exceptional M&E experience at the resort.
